Trick or Treat on Third Street

Saturday afternoon, October 31, 2026, Historic Third Street turns into McMinnville’s downtown Halloween stop. The street closes to cars, shops hand out candy, and families walk the blocks in costume. The Downtown Association has the hours at 4 to 6 p.m. No ticket, no lineup, just a slow walk from storefront to storefront.

Scarecrows have been up on the lampposts since mid-October, and the favorite is named that same afternoon. Coloring contest winners are announced then too. If the weather looks wet, a coat over the costume is worth bringing. Check the association’s Halloween page that morning in case the window moves.
