FAQs
What exactly does a senior referral agency do?
1
We act as your personal consultants and navigators in the senior living industry. Our role is to listen to your specific needs—regarding care levels, budget, and lifestyle—and then filter through local options to find the best matches. We handle the research, coordinate tours, and provide objective data so you can make an informed decision without feeling overwhelmed.
How can your services be free for families?
2
Our agency operates on a placement-based model. We are compensated by the senior living communities and care providers within our extensive network. This allows us to offer professional, high-touch transition support to seniors and their families at no out-of-pocket cost, ensuring quality guidance is accessible to everyone.
Are you biased toward specific senior living communities?
3
Not at all. Our priority is a successful long-term fit for your family. Because we maintain a broad network of vetted providers—ranging from independent living to memory care—our recommendations are based strictly on your unique requirements. We succeed only when your loved one is in an environment where they can truly thrive.
Do you provide hands-on caregiving or medical services?
4
We are a placement and advisory service, not a care provider. While we do not offer direct medical or personal care (like medication management or hygiene assistance), we specialize in connecting you with the professionals who do. Whether you need a residential community or a high-quality in-home care agency, we find the right team for the job.
How do you vet the communities and providers you recommend?
5
We don't just look at websites; we know the local landscape. We evaluate providers based on their care standards, state licensing reports, staff-to-resident ratios, and overall reputation. We stay updated on the "real feel" of these communities to ensure we are only suggesting places that meet our high expectations for safety and dignity.
What types of senior living options can you help me explore?
6
Our expertise covers the full spectrum of senior care, including:
Independent Living: For active seniors looking for a maintenance-free lifestyle.
Assisted Living: For those needing help with daily tasks.
Memory Care: Specialized environments for those with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
Residential Care Homes: Smaller, neighborhood-based settings for personalized attention.
In-Home Care: Professional assistance within your current residence.
What happens after we choose a location or provider?
7
Our support doesn't end with a signature. We assist with the logistics of the transition and follow up after the move to see how your loved one is settling in. We provide a 2 week wellness follow-up visit after move-in date, providing peace of mind from the first phone call through the entire settling-in process.

How We Are Compensated Our referral services are provided at no cost to seniors and their families. We are compensated via a referral fee paid by the senior living community or care provider only after a successful placement has been made. This allows us to offer our expertise and support to you for free. Our recommendations remain unbiased and are based solely on the care needs and preferences of your loved one.
Your Right to Research We encourage every family to be proactive in their search for quality care. The State of Oregon maintains a public database where you can research the licensing and complaint history of any long-term care facility, including assisted living, memory care, and residential care homes.
This website is maintained by the Oregon Department of Human Services and provides information on licensed long-term care settings including but not limited to regulatory enforcement actions (https://ltclicensing.oregon.gov/).
Privacy & Disclosure Before we begin the referral process, Oregon law requires that we provide you with a formal Mandatory Disclosure & Advisory Form. This document outlines our relationship, how we handle your data, and the scope of our services. You will receive this form during our initial consultation.
